Many, Many Things
Wednesday 19 February 2003 at 11:29 pm. Things that happened today. Watched 24, 8-9pm. Very good show, love that show, that show roxors. heheh, I used roxor in a sentence. Got rejected for a potential contracting job. That blows. Sold some stuff on Ebay, modified a sendmail log parser, saw the neighbors eaves troughs get destroyed by tons of melting snow sliding off their roof, realized that the snowplow folks in Virginia have no clue how to plow snow effectively given that lanes on the beltway appear and disappear with no warning even 4 days after it snowed, and some other stuff.I'm trying to find a debt/judgment collection agency. I've got an outstanding judgment against the evil spammer PrintPal, and I'd like PrintPal and Michael Comish to pay the judgment before something more legal happens. And as a shameless plug, I'm also available to do contract work, doing network and system security and administration, system troubleshooting, spam filtering, web development, you know, stuff like that. This guy named Seth Godin wrote a book named Purple Cow, and I'm getting a bunch of email for and about it. Seth seems like a nice guy, and he even looks like me when I shave my head. Sort of. His picture is attached. It should be pretty clear it's not me though. Anyway, I'm getting a copy of his book, which roxors. Heh, twice.
The snow is sucky, and now they are saying the 1.5' (that's 1 foot 6 inches for the decimal-system-retarded, as well as the tick-mark-means-feet-retarded) of snow that God generously sent us all in DC will now melt and cause 40 days and 40 nights of flooding. I wonder if there is a step-by-step website on how to build an ark... or maybe I could get one from Amazon with a complementary Segway scooter on board. Hey, at least it will qualify for Free Super Saver Shipping®!!! Whee.

It’s a scam. I think Beckman is Seth Godin. It only makes sense. Seth Godin’s purplecow is this Beckman character that runs this blog. Stop messing with us Mr. Seth Beckman!
